I am writing this as you're on your way home from your day with your friends in New York! Today, I just wanted to talk about something that we did throughout the summer that I really enjoyed, which was our good morning calls!
I know you can wake up on your own even though it is a bit harder on your own, however, it makes me feel really loved and important when I can be the first thing you hear in the morning and get to tell you "good meowning"! I am so glad you coined that phrase and I took it, because it's honestly such a positive and fun way to start our days. It's really adorable.
But anyways, when you were in Lubbock, you have no idea how much I enjoyed waking you up every morning. You always told me that I don't have to and to just not interrupt my sleep, but if it did not mean as much to me as I was saying, of course I would never wake up 1-2 hours before my alarm to call you and make sure you get out of bed.
Thank you for letting me be the person who can wake you up. I know how much you absolutely hate being woken up and how much you really enjoy your sleep, and I know how angry you can get when that happens. However, I am glad that you don't usually get very angry at me, and you're usually quite happy to talk to me in the morning or whenever I wake you up, unless it's from a nap at night when you're tired.
It's just one of those small things that probably won't continue into the school year that I really appreciated and never took for granted at all. When you'll be sleeping with me though, I won't have to call you, and I can just give you some kisses instead.
