Happy birthday my love. You have turned 21, and we are going to head to eat soon in which I will give you the gift that I hope you like, and also I will finally give you the website that I have been making a journal on for the past month now.
I just wanted to take a moment to look back. Before this journal, we had not seen each other in person besides school. Before this journal, we did not tell each other that we love each other. Before this journal, you were not a legal age to drink.
Looking back more, we have worked our way through some really tough situations, communicated our feelings until we possibly can't form any more words, and transformed something that was unsure romantic interest into a strong, steadfast, and lasting relationship which will see our entire lives through.
I just wanted to thank you for being so patient in this process: you know I'm not perfect. I have flaws and issues that I am working through, and insecurities that I am fixing to be a better person for you. I wanted to thank you for being so kind and sweet to me, and letting me inside your various barriers, because the woman I have gotten to know is truly my favorite person I have ever met, interacted with, and talked to.
